ibis Budget Auckland Airport features the essentials for a short stopover in the airport vicinity. This was a very clean & tidy budget hotel within walking distance of the airport. We were very pleased about that as our Uber app wasn’t working and all the taxicabs wanted to charge us a flat fee of $45 to drive us around the corner to the hotel. We loved the location of the Ibis. It was an extremely busy evening with some kind of large sporting event but our check in was handled efficiently and we felt very welcome. The room was small but the use of space was clever and it was more than suitable for us as we were just doing a quick overnight between flights.

Sudima Auckland Airport is 5 minutes drive from Manakau Harbor and Butterfly Creek and 15 minutes drive from Rainbow’s End. Auckland’s City Center is a 30 minute drive away. It was perfect for it’s money.

Loved the complimentary shuttle from & to the airport. Great main desk service. Clean, large room with a very comfortable bed. Great AC & loved the jacuzzi tub. Even have room service from the kitchen. Reasonable priced vending machines. A library to borrow/ exchange books. Great lounge. Good sitting areas around the hotel to just chill away from your room. Bonus out door pool. Great restaurant & laundry facilities. Great experience. Will stay there again.
