I didn't check in 8 minutes beyond the Chek in time. However, the young lady still got me situated as if it were midday. She was so helpful even in that late hour. With all that traveling I had done that day, she truly put my mind at ease and gave my body a place to rest properly. Everything was clean, up to date, fresh, and above all, COMFORTABLE.

If you have blue state plates like I do, prepare yourself for police harassment. I have never in my life been pulled over for going 4 miles under the speed limit and then told not to come back and try Florida instead. Apparently they aren't as hard up for tourism as they claim.

This is a good beach for people who aren't strong swimmers.
This is a good beach for people who aren't strong swimmers. The water wasn't overly deep, even at high tide, and calm. At low tide, there are plenty of sand bars to walk out on and collect shells, see Sea life. There were quite a few jellyfish and crabs though, so watch your step.
We found quite a few restaurants both in Long Beach and nearby. They were kind of pricy, but the food was good.
The community is still showing signs of damage from Hurricane Katrina. The pier was closed off and there are plenty of vacant lots with as much sand on the sidewalks as on the beach. My biggest complaint though is the lack of crosswalks on Hwy 90, making it difficult to cross to get to the beach. Other than at the traffic light near Waffle House, you're risking your life each time.

Biloxi is a beach town that just has not been discovered. The beach was clean but not busy. The restaurants in and around Biloxi mirror the food popular in New Orleans and is terrific. Nearby towns of Ocean Springs, Gulfport and Long Beach present fun areas to poke around and shop.

Beautiful, peaceful town. Pass Books/Cat Island coffee is excellent; we come back for the beauty of Pass Christian and to enjoy the book store!
We like Shaggy’s on the water and Northbeach for dining.

Gulfport was very convenient, and my kids had a blast. The beach was fun, clean and not crowded. We will be coming back but we will not use booking.com was not only pointless but ended up wasting the first few hours of the vacation looking for a hotel to stay in. That being said booking.com ruined the first few hours of the vacation but I won't let it happen again.

Beautiful hotel right across the road to the beach. Great breakfast every morning. Fresh baked cookies everyday. Close to many attractions, but not around the hustle and bustle of all the party crowds. Beautiful Gulf views from our room. Large room with plenty of TV stations. Small store with a few goodies o site.

I loved this hotel.
I loved this hotel. The room was perfect with a perfect view of the ocean/pool. Very clean room. Even tho we had a smoking room, the smell was not bad. Hotel staff was very nice, but we did have to wait in line about 30min to get checked in. The casino was fun, but you had to basically go to bar to get a drink. Not enough waitresses to serve you at the machines.

Absolutely love love love Gulfport it has so much family fun things to do or if you and your partner just want to get away Gulfport has just want you need. But I do not recommend motel 6 across from Walmart it had roaches and it was too small. The property was absolutely disgusting. I would say the only thing at the motel I liked was how friendly the staff was.

I travel to this area approximately 12x a year, so for The Inn in Long Beach has been my best overall experience as for as hotels go including casino hotels! The Inn is beautiful and clean it also has a great breakfast. The rooms are spacious,clean and have comfortable beds and nice towels! I really don’t think anyone has even come close to the staff. Everyone is so welcoming and accommodating from the front desk to house keeping!

If you like, baseball, casinos, bright lights, dark beaches at night, warm weather 80degrees in the middle of October! You will love Biloxi. Not to mention, you can buy shrimp, and, oysters right off the boat, next to the Hard Rock Cafe
