I didn't check in 8 minutes beyond the Chek in time. However, the young lady still got me situated as if it were midday. She was so helpful even in that late hour. With all that traveling I had done that day, she truly put my mind at ease and gave my body a place to rest properly. Everything was clean, up to date, fresh, and above all, COMFORTABLE.

Gulfport is a beautiful city. if you like beaches and don't like crowded ones, this city is for you. There are large casinos, and nice restaurants that have every food taste. From their fast foods to fine dining. The city has very friendly customer service. And all the shopping you need.

We ate three times at Harbor View cafe, they are great with...

We ate three times at Harbor View cafe, they are great with kids. Even had to go to urgent care and that was pretty easy. So close to Gulf port and Pass Christian it was easy to find things to do. The aquarium and shopping all the way to Biloxi. The Inn at Long Beach had pool and beach was across the street.

We love Biloxi. We love casino hopping.

We love Biloxi. We love casino hopping. The buffet at the Palace casino was good. We love the Toasted Yolk restaurant in Biloxi for breakfast. We love the beach & water. Great souvenir shops. Our stay at Golden Nugget was horrible. Very disappointed in this hotel.

Beautiful, peaceful town.

Beautiful, peaceful town. Pass Books/Cat Island coffee is excellent; we come back for the beauty of Pass Christian and to enjoy the book store! We like Shaggy’s on the water and Northbeach for dining.

I haven't been in a few years and there are a lot of new places to see, things to do and places to eat. I drove over to Ocean Springs where they have an outdoor market with different venders selling their wares.

The beach being right across the street was great to walk...

The beach being right across the street was great to walk along after an early morning breakfast with my grandchildren. The Gulf of America view was great to see in the morning as I opened up the curtains. The pool out front and it's view of the Gulf was great. The price of the room was very reasonable for the location. And lastly., the staff was very friendly and helpful.

My trip was to short!

My trip was to short! Next time will have to stay at least 2 weeks. So much to see and do! Absolutely great to be so close to the beach and water. Saved 1 rock from the beach, think it is a piece of coral anyway I love it. We went during hurricane season, but had really great weather. I think it rained for 15 minutes one day the rest of the time the weather was really good.

If you have blue state plates like I do, prepare yourself...

If you have blue state plates like I do, prepare yourself for police harassment. I have never in my life been pulled over for going 4 miles under the speed limit and then told not to come back and try Florida instead. Apparently they aren't as hard up for tourism as they claim.

This is a good beach for people who aren't strong swimmers.

This is a good beach for people who aren't strong swimmers. The water wasn't overly deep, even at high tide, and calm. At low tide, there are plenty of sand bars to walk out on and collect shells, see Sea life. There were quite a few jellyfish and crabs though, so watch your step. We found quite a few restaurants both in Long Beach and nearby. They were kind of pricy, but the food was good. The community is still showing signs of damage from Hurricane Katrina. The pier was closed off and there are plenty of vacant lots with as much sand on the sidewalks as on the beach. My biggest complaint though is the lack of crosswalks on Hwy 90, making it difficult to cross to get to the beach. Other than at the traffic light near Waffle House, you're risking your life each time.

We didn’t do much away from hotel.

We didn’t do much away from hotel. Only went to a couple of restaurants. City seems to be pretty quiet and people were nice.We ate at a Chinese restaurant close to hotel I can’t remember the name but, food was really tasty. We ate breakfast at Waffle House close to hotel and employees were superb and so was the food. It was easy to locate places.
