Orlando International Airport (MCO) Information

Location and Transport

Just 11 miles (18 kilometres) from the city, Orlando International Airport offers a variety of transport options into town. The Lynx Bus #11 and #51 depart every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday, with a journey time of around 40 minutes. On Sundays and public holidays, however, they run every hour. A SunRail train ride takes 15 minutes from downtown Orlando, but you’ll need to connect via the bus link at Sand Lake Road to reach the airport.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

There's a hotel located inside the main terminal, and plenty of others dotted around the outskirts. Over 120 shops and restaurants are housed within the terminals and art lovers will be pleased to know the airport has a permanent collection on show.

Terminal Information

The main terminal is divided into two parts, labelled A and B. Use A to reach Airside terminals 1 and 2, and B to reach 3 and 4. The central terminal is connected to the other four by a free tram service. Catching a connecting flight at Orlando International will require travellers to pass through immigration - a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.

Orlando is a great vacation destination for anyone.

Orlando is a great vacation destination for anyone. Of course the major theme parks are the main draw but there is many other attractions to cater to everyone. Places like Old Town, Deezerland, the variety of dinner shows available, the Titanic Experience, are just a few of our favorite things to do when we are in town. There is a prefect mix of thrill outdoor fun and artsy museum experiences. Great shopping options with multiple outlets and malls. Icon Park and Old Town are perfect examples of the mix of food and shopping.

Get ready for tons of tolls in the mail. They charged me a list of toll fees . The signs don’t say you have to get off the toll each place . It wasn’t like this 9 years ago when we paid a few when we went to Disney . I just opened up a whole new list of toll fees after paying on the same day . I hated the streets designs and how you can’t get around easily . Just not the place for me. I do think the people seem friendly on a plus side . The city is too greedy with their tolls every few miles!!

Orlando is a fantastic and exciting city with so much to see and do. I wish I had had more time to explore, but since this was a business trip, my time was limited. I'm really looking forward to returning someday with my family, staying longer, and experiencing more of what Orlando has to offer.

The place was nice and comfortable bed Shower should have had handicapped I almost slid the 1st atime being used Not set up for a handicap person I needed a streigh leg chair When my husband tried getting me out of the chair he fell backwards and hurt his back I fell forward on top of him and the pavers hurting my legs and shoulders You need to have a few more handicap areas I could not play the mini golf course and I was afraid to go into the lazy river going in by the toddler section I thought I would fall tring to walk out to water carring the tube Breakfast was good should have some black tea as a choice and the eggs could have had a change up with omletts. I was looking to get a massage but didn't see any additional info on the spa services We have our personal car Also when checking in She was very sweet told us about a lot of things If they see a person with a walker should ask if we want a handicap room if I failed to book one or there wasn't any at the time of booking. Out side of these few complants we had a great time

We traveled 8 hours to Orlando for my husband to purchase a...

We traveled 8 hours to Orlando for my husband to purchase a truck. We drove down Sunday, got a hotel and stayed the night. We got up Monday morning, went and purchased his truck and drove 8 hours back home. I honestly did not care for Orlando. It was too busy and too loud for my liking. I can honestly say that I have no plans to ever visit Orlando again. It's just not my cup of tea.

We have been going to Kissimmee for the last 25 years for our kids and now for our grandkids. They need to get the kids causing problems out of their so people feel safe walking around. Alot of business has closed down so it's not as good as it used to be

Reserved due to price and location. Unexpectedly stuck overnight for flight out of MCO. A bit far from MCO, but well worth the 10-min drive time. Checked in after midnight; checked out at 4:10a. Place was immaculate. Bedding as good as we've found anywhere. Coffee excellent. Gone before breakfast available. Outstanding experience.
