Search hotels in Winter Haven

Just a note for people going to Legoland. They charge the same for kids that are 2 + as an adult. Most theme parks let kids 3 and under in at no charge. We paid 100.00 for the 2 yr old and very limited rides for them as everything has height restrictions

I loved everything about our trip and I loved the pool at the hotel and even better my kids loved it and we had a great family vacation and enjoyed every bit of it. We went to legoland and had a great time you should definitely visit there if you have small children and everything is so close by restaurants, stores and even Legoland was really close by.

Mangers need to know how to talk to customers when you feel like your not safe in your room all three rooms was having the same problem with the roofing with the tiles going up and down in each room they said it was the wind but the doors was closed the whole time .we just felt unsafe when we was seeing the same thing happening in each room checked out early

Very poor room. Smells when you first come in. The girl at the desk not at all friendly nor was the checkout man when leaving. Not much for breakfast. Area around motel was very dirty and had to watch where my dogs went potty. Also know one explained to get refrigerator to work you had to find the switch on the wall to make it work

The Bathroom did not appear cleaned it was poorly maintained. The toilet had a lot of rust stains. The shower was coming out of the shower was very little, The floors did not appear clean. The door to the room did not close all the way. It was not a place. It seemed to be unleveled, The worst was the AC that made a terrible noise the entire night preventing me from getting rest. This property price is not a good value. The only good thing I can say about it was the staff at the front desk, & that the place has parking facility,

After reading previous reviews we had our concerns about staying here as a stop over. We are very happy to report that we had a thoroughly pleasant experience at the Gardens inn. The rooms were spacious and our bed was comfortable. Wifi was functional in our room and suited our needs, albeit the band strength could have been stronger. We made full use of the pool and had it to ourselves most of the time. Our rate included both breakfast and dinner, which we thought was great value. The meals were modest in size but very tasty. We had shrimp and grits one evening and Spanish style chicken the next. The breakfasts were equally delicious. We also found the ladies at reception, Jennifer and CC, to be friendly and helpful. We also had no issues with our deposit. We do suspect that some of the people who left unsavoury reviews had left their rooms equally unsavoury and were surprised when they didn't get their deposit back. The only concern we had was that mask wearing in common areas was non existent for both guests and staff and no hand sanitizer was provided at the entrance.
