Good price for sure, I really like the location, really good options to eat around the Hotel. A Wal-mart always come handy and there was one near by. Cleanliness definitely the comfort of the bed I can't complain everything was good.

I love Mesa and have family there.

I love Mesa and have family there. This was a weekend for a wedding. Allegiant Airlines fly direct from my area to Mesa Gateway airport. That is very convenient. There is a lot of walking from rental car area to gates but probably less than Phoenix So much less congestion. I did not do any sightseeing or shopping on this trip. It is a beautiful area with so much to do.

We always enjoy visiting our family in Gilbert.

We always enjoy visiting our family in Gilbert. It’s super hot in the summer, obviously, but manageable with AC and misters everywhere. It’s a beautiful area, lots of great restaurants and friendly people.

Our Trip was very very great 👍 here in Fountain Hills Hotel We also love ❤️ thr Location too beautiful near the water park to chill out We will be back again to see family friends to come move there in our future we from NYC and it quiet there we love ❤️ that one u will need a car 🚗 to move around but it's easy. Rent a car 🚗 or have your own Thank u AZ 💓 ver friendly people there kind toothed best experience so far for us

If you are a late diner or looking for nightlife, this isn't...

If you are a late diner or looking for nightlife, this isn't the place for you. Things close at 8 and it's quiet after that. The city is clean, laid out nicely, and the signage makes it easy to find roads. We went to Prospector Park and were blown away at how large it was and how nice the parking lots and trails were. The play area was appealing to kids and they offer a StoryWalk, something new to us and it was fun (designed for young children but the 14yo was amused to read each stop). We also traveled out of town to Lost Dutchman Museum. We went through the gift shop but had arrived close to closing so we did not see the indoor museum. We did walk the outdoor paths and saw various plants and cacti (many are labeled) and went to the top of the hill to view Superstition Mountain. We read about the 2011 plane crash and happened to be there on the 14th anniversary so it felt different to view it. They offer various events daily but even without those the exhibits were very informative. We stayed an hour and could have stayed an hour or two more, there is a lot to take in.

This is a huge warning do not stay at studio six Tempe off of Wendler the place is infested with German cockroaches. It was dirty from corner to corner caked with filth, absolute filth. I was promised an entire refund by booking.com so many times and by the manager Laura of the property while she promised the property refunded all of it, I was refunded a 3rd of it, It’s now disputed with my bank and a letter sent to the attorney General in Arizona. Booking.com is fraud they rip u off. I have emails from booking.com saying that the property did not answer when in fact they did here we are 15 days later and I still haven’t gotten all of my money. do not book through booking.com, they steal your money and Calling is a damn nightmare. I spent 20 minutes, just trying to get through their AI who refuses to pass you to a human until you threaten fraud.Do not stay at studio six Tempe.

Great attractions, restaurants, and shopping in Scottsdale. Old Town Scottsdale is very charming. Lots of wonderful dining! Scottsdale Fashion Square has terrific shopping. Wonderful spas: Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, The Phoenician, The Omni Joya Spa!!!

Visiting aunt for her birthday, was the best part. Worst was the dust storms while we were there. Could not see through the car windows. Luckily we had packed paper towels and water to wash the windows, then had to find a car wash.

I've been to Gilbert twice since my daughter moved there...

I've been to Gilbert twice since my daughter moved there from Maryland in May of 2025. I have found Gilbert to be a very pleasant place - lots of friendly people - with a nice variety of shopping and restaurants, both in the downtown section and the suburbs. I had not visited the Phoenix area until my two trips in October and December. I'm a big fan now, and didn't even mind the daily excitement of navigating the main highways, including the NASCAR drivers who are adept at cutting over four lanes in one bold move. Frankly, Phoenix is the easiest big city in the country to navigate by car (I'm sure the natives disagree at the rush hours, but really, it's a breeze compared to NYC, L.A., Chicago, Boston, Houston, Atlanta, etc.). And the weather? Perfect!

Nice town and walk around the fountain - seemed like a popular meeting place. Some nice restaurants and close enough to Scottsdale and Phoenix for others. I would not recommend it in January - highs some days in high 40s and some in the low 70s. The locals say S Arizona best in the "shoulder" months.
