We went for a baseball tournament in Tucson, but flights were cheaper to Phoenix. Airport was really busy and a little confusing. The airtram destinations to get to the rental car place were not clearly marked to pick up the rental car, but returning rental car was very easy. We enjoyed some sightseeing at the Hole in the Rock park. Very nice with awesome views! Easy "hike" - about 5-10 minutes to the top with steps. Only 10 minutes from the airport. If in town only for a little bit, it was a quick and easy, but well worth it, sight-seeing trip.

I have lived in Arizona for many years, and yes, Phoenix is now a metropolis. Traffic sucks unless you travel on Sundays and off times. I love the many amenities of the city, but it lacks the character of other cities. Keep in mind, that the Phoenix metro area also includes Scottsdale, Glendale, Tempe, and other cool places, so there is charm if you know where to go. In the heart of Phoenix's downtown area, there are also some great museums, professional sports, and other attractions, If you know Phoenix, there is a lot to love, as a tourist, you may not have the time to uncover the hidden gems.

We were supposed to have the entire day on a layover, but our flight was 5 hours delayed so unfortunately we did not get to go to the botanical gardens nor the zoo - both of which are quite close to the hotel and airport. But we did eat at a great Italian restaurant recommended by the hotel staff - Adela's (separate review) - nice selection of free movies on a very large TV.

January not the best time to visit there.

January not the best time to visit there. Snow in the northern part of the state and other areas limit places to go. Temperature can be too cold to enjoy all activities. Traffic can get very heavy on freeways at times.

Refused my reservation claiming I violated policy in 2022 yet I stayed in that same hotel at least 5 times in 2023 and nothing was ever said about this incident so we had to go sleep outside cause that was all the money we had and it was my birthday so we were gonna stay in a room as a gift

a very comfortable room and the staff was awesome as well. very safe feeling location. close to a lot of venues and bars. was walking distance to Chase Field Not a complaint but an observation: Phoenix temp that day was 120 F, the room I was in, got down to about 74 F at its lowest. I understand the temp issue so i cant complain, but I do love a cold room usually keep it at 69-70 F. But other than that it was an awesome hotel and I definitely recommend a stay

This is one of my favorite hotels in Phoenix! I have stayed here multiple time with my family. The breakfast is great, great pool and awesome ambience. They offer complimentary laundry usage on the first floor which is great! The rooms are very clean and exceeded my expectations and they have mini kitchens with silverware, plates etc. The staff is always very friendly as well. I truly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean relaxed stay.

The Amenities… dinner and breakfast, kitchenette, super clean, some of the nicest hotel staff, shuttle (we didn’t use), and info in the room regarding dry cleaning (also didn’t use). Wow it felt like we were staying at a much more expensive hotel, and were treated like we spent a lot more money than we did. I recommend this spot to anyone… as we will 100% be staying here again ANYTIME we are traveling through Phoenix.

The simplicity and cleanliness of the apartment were superb! I also like the location of the apartment in downtown Phoenix. The staff, I meant on arrival at about midnight, who was around to help guests get into their rooms after an earlier power failure had disrupted the door code computers, was very courteous.

A very nice and comfy hotel located next to a freeway and with easy access to Phoenix downtown and beyond. There is a small but decent swimming pool, which is a bless in the heat of July Arizona. Complimentary breakfast was a plus - not super varied - but on a plus side.
