Metro was near by so me and my son was able to explore. I love the quiet neighbourhood.
Lots of trees around the hotel, place to chill in nature.

The location was perfect because it was close to family and easy access to the freeway. The room and bathroom was spacious and we enjoyed the availability of the kitchenette. It's located right next to the freeway and our room faced the freeway which was pretty loud all the time. There appeared to be long term renters who stayed there.

My friend took me around to places of interest, restaurants and artistic venues. Couldn't really tell you where all we ate, most of it was middle eastern and it was quite good.
I never felt like I was as close as I was to metropolitan areas because it was quiet and secluded.

The room was cozy and had plenty of power outlets, which I really appreciated. The only issue I had was with my rewards. On my first day, I asked the front desk to verify my membership, and they assured me that the corresponding rewards would be credited. Unfortunately, no rewards were added to my account.
I also noticed that I was charged for an additional day, even though I checked out early. I informed the front desk on my first day that I would be leaving one day before the end of my five-day reservation because of the Fourth of July holiday. Despite notifying them in advance, I was still charged for the additional night that I did not stay.

Edina and it's neighbor Shakopee are where you find the Minnesota nice I truly thought did not exist. Nice people, plenty of shopping, dining and hospital care units. In fact my son and his girlfriend liked it so much, they plan on moving there. They ate at Texas Road House in Shokopee and said it was the best one they've eaten at. These cities have the cleanest well stocked Walmarts and department stores. A definite place to visit and stay if you are coming to Minnesota. If staying in Edina I highly recommend Homewood Suites.

I knew it was going be cold - I had anticipated -2 degrees celsius. I wasn't expecting -17 degrees celsius and a lot of snow. The city council did an incredible job keeping the roads and pavements safe but obviously it did make exploring a little harder than anticipated. However - We visited the famous Mall of America and a NFL game at US Bank stadium, also wandered down to the Stone Arch bridge over the frozen (!) Mississippi. It was a weekend so all the bars downtown were very busy but we managed to get seats and tables with patience and service was always excellent

Minneapolis and St.
Minneapolis and St. Paul are great cities to visit, we lucked out on weather, nice and not hot. Easy to get around and lots of things to do. Great restaurants too. Went to a Twins game, very easy to get to Target Field. Mall of America is pretty huge if you like shopping. Lots of outdoor activities and pleasant to walk around in the summer. Good public transportation too.

When I first got here I like the place and I still like the place you know they could clean a little better it's not dirty but a little Dusty but that's due to the air conditioners but it's understandable but all in all it's convenient comfortable and quaint, 🫶🏿 restaurants are very close by then 5 minutes shopping zuppa and White Castle was my favorite restaurants

Burnsville is around a lot of beautiful nature -- national wildlife areas and parks of various sizes. There are plenty of restaurant options, depending on your own tastes, but there are practical businesses clustered together, like Cub and Walgreens. Travelers are right by 13, 35W and 35E, so it's an easy hop, skip and a jump to all the museums, shows and culture the Twin Cities have to offer. It's an excellent place to visit if your clubbing days are over.

The hotel style is unique and a bit quirky, but we enjoyed it as everything was clean, comfortable and convenient. We'll never complain about finding someplace to hang a towel or clothing again! The lobby bar and lounge was very nice, with friendly staff. Garage parking was expensive (but probably on par for MSP), but the convenience couldn't be beat with spots only feet from the hotel doorway and easy/quick in/out garage access. Elevators (3) were super fast!
