The owner of the hotel is very nice. Both our arrival and departure are in the early morning. She arranged airport transfers and met us on arrival and departure. During our stay, she drove us to the town centre and beach area. There is a nice small waterfall near the hotel.

Le Vasa is on the East side of the Island and 20 minute drive from the main international airport. I would go again as I wanted a total relax and that's what I had. I chose to go on a tour to the West side and also caught the local buses into Apia which is an essential cultural experience, I learnt so much about respect on those buses. Everyone I met so willing to share stories and answer any questions I had about the culture. Very respectful and caring staff.

Everything was amazing especially the staff. They were very welcoming and attentive. I loved our room and the facility esp the pool. I enjoyed time relaxing on the beach. 10/10 for our much needed holiday. Just wonderful! Thank you.

Lovely place, very interesting culture, hired a car, went to swim at Turtle Bay, drove into the town to look around. Bought food at some of the local food places, but the best food and price was the resort itelf.
To get around one does need to hire a car, they are expensive however. But to get the feel of Samoa, necessary. There are cheaper places to stay, it depends on what you want.
A beautiful new airport complements the island, previously was a tin shed but what was lovely about that was the welcoming group singing and paying guitars.
Sadly that does not happen at the new airport

I was only here for one night, for proximity to my early...
I was only here for one night, for proximity to my early flight the next day. I would probably stay a couple of nights if returning to enjoy the facilites and surrounds.
However, it is a long way from the other sights on the island like the To-Sua Trench and Namua island. The drive to those is about 2 hours on the slow roads.

There is not much to do out in this area as its really the wharf town for the ferry out to Savaii. The Sheraton was close by to the wharf and the airport so it worked well for an overnight stay before flying home the next day rather than going all the way into Apia
