Very nice resort on comfortable small island❤️ Not overcrowded this period. Amazing food and very welcoming staff, especially Shahid, Bee, Angii and Hiika. Beach villa houses are very close to beach and clean.

Nestled on the pristine island of Thelu Veliga, located in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 56 mi southwest of the capital, Malé, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat features of its own magnificent house... WOW WOW WOW! The most AMAZING place I have ever visited! I booked this holiday as a surprise for my husband for his 50th birthday, and even I was surprised at Drift exceeding my expectations. The snorkeling was out of this world with so many different options right from your villa. The bath overlooking the sea was a real highlight for me. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned twice a day. Island was pristine and so quiet and peaceful. Even the other people visiting were quiet. The whole atmosphere was peaceful and restful. The all inclusive package was really worth it - was lovely not to have to worry about any expenses. They even included a sunset fishing trip for us as part of the package, and use of water sport equipment.

Featuring a shared lounge, Koimala Hotel features accommodations in Maamigili. It is a very welcoming stay with a nice dining terrace. They take care of their guests so much. Very friendly people. The food was delicious, it was so freshly and nicely cooked for us. We ordered the excursions as well. While snorkeling, we saw Manta Ray, dolphins, mini black riff sharks, and lots of different fish. Maamigili island is located 2 hours from Male, 110 km. With the good weather, it is nice to get there on a boat transfer, but if the weather gets windy and rainy, it would be better to fly back with the airplane. And of course, absolutely turquoise beach they have, a dream of Maldives. I love the water colors of Maldive islands. The Indian Ocean is so chill there. It allows you to swim safely and snorkel.

In terms of nice perks which were appreciated: pick up from port, welcome fruit drink, free snorkel rental, refills on water, available for consult over WhatsApp, choice of breakfast. The room was spacious for two single guys traveling, with a fridge, strong AC, and TV. The host was very friendly and helpful from start to finish, even dropping me on his motorbike at the next hotel I stayed at and answering questions about ferries even after I had checked out.
