The location is great, it’s on a street with lots of shops, restaurants and stores, which is very convenient. The couple who owns the place, especially the wife, is very friendly and helpful. She explained the tour we booked really well and made sure we understood everything. Before our stay, she kept in touch and asked what time we’d arrive, giving us all the needed details. When we got there, she gave us a warm welcome. You can also see the cable cars passing above, which is a nice view. Overall, it’s a really good place to stay.

We had a fantastic stay in Heaven Gate Homestay! The location is absolutely perfect — surrounded by local food stalls, supermarkets, and just a short distance from the stunning Tianmen Mountain. She was warm, responsive, and always ready to help — from recommending delicious local food to helping us place orders and explaining everything we needed to know during our stay. The owner very obviously put thought into the place and everything was clean and comfortable. They let us check in early and had very clear communication. They provided a filtered water dispenser as well as laundry machine. It was close to many delicious restaurants, many of which were right downstairs and very homey. The water pressure was excellent, wish we had a few more nights at this place!

We couldn't make a better choice! The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He picked us up from the late train and helped us book tickets for the Tianmen Mountain. The room was simple but cosy. Great location and amazing value for money.
