Although the weather didn’t cooperate for our whale watching tour in Húsavík, we still had a wonderful time thanks to our stay at Maddy House. The views of the harbor from the house were absolutely stunning—watching the boats come and go was a peaceful and memorable experience. The house itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, making it a perfect retreat from the chilly weather. We were the second people to stay in the 'new' guesthouse. It was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and eat our meals. The view was great. The host was extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

We really liked the property. The access is not through another property but is independent of the house where the hosts live, and the facilities were really clean and modern with all necessary kitchen appliances, enough tableware and the beds were very comfortable. All in all a top stay! Key is easy to access as the key box is right next to the door and the area in front of the property had comfortable garden furniture to enjoy a quite evening and rest your feet after a hard day of "touristing".
