We just spent two nights at The Old City Rooms in the heart of Chiang Mai, and we couldn't have been happier with this place. The room was very comfortable and clean providing a perfect retreat after exploring the city. The staff was really helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Chiang Mai's Old City, everything is within easy walking distance. A huge bonus was the on site spa. It's incredibly well equipped with two ice baths, one magnesium hot bath, one steam room, one Finnish sauna, and one infrared sauna. It was the ideal way to relax and rejuvenate after a day of sightseeing. We will definitely coming back !

The owner and his wife are very friendly and accommodating. The owner is very sociable. Eventhough he does not speak English well, he goes out of his way to communicate. A simple Thai breakfast is available every morning of instant coffee both caffinated and decaffeinated, fruit, a sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves, toast and other things. Free water is supplied daily. Towels and bedding changed daily.

The deluxe room which we've booked was very spacious, and we've also enjoyed the balcony very much. Everything was very clean, and very comfortable. The location was great - very peaceful, 10 mins walk from the old city, and not extremely touristy, which we enjoyed. 5 mins walk to 7-11 and plenty of places to eat nearby. We also really liked the courtyard, a very nice place to relax in for a bit after a full day of visiting - lots of plants and the friendly dog :) Also, our host was very helpful and nice, helping us with tips on where to go for the festival, where to eat, how to do laundry, etc

Very low key accommodation. Each floor is a different room so there’s very little guests actually staying here at a time. We really liked this. It was always quiet no matter the time. The street is a side street off the main road and there’s a ton of other hostels. The location is perfect for quick access to old town and the night market around the corner. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. We liked it so much we extended our stay. The internet is great for remote workers there’s multiple extenders. The maid stays on property till 5:00pm and she’s very kind! She was always attentive and asking if we needed anything. Every morning you’ll find a lite breakfast bar with cereal, snacks, and coffee. We checked in late so we just picked up our keys and walked up to our room. A/C in the rooms are always welcoming to come home too. Our room had a kitchenette with a microwave. Very useful.

Had to give a 5 star across the board. We found this absolutely gem at the end of of Thailand trip and it felt like a home. Lovely spacious room, additional kitchen area and beautiful balcony to sip a coffee in the morning sun. The staff were so attentive and smiling. The apartment is placed within a huge garden and feels so peaceful. Room was cleaned throughout our week stay and restocked with amenities. The bedding was lovely and bed so comfortable!!! we loved it all. Location is great and bicycles are available for a cheap price.
