All units at the apartment complex have air conditioning and a desk. Quality exceeding the price! The villa is spacious and really clean compared to other places we visited in Sri Lanka. Bed linens were clean, mattresses very comfortable. We had a good sleep, there were no noises from outside. Villa is well equipped with kitchen, washing machine and even drying rack for clothes. Shower had good pressure and really hot water thanks to electric boiler. The shower floor even had a proper slope, so the water didn’t stay on the floor and was draining quickly! It was possible to choose from 3 breakfast options and it was tasty with some local dishes and fruits. Owner was very nice to us.

Gorgeous place - ultra spacious and not one but two comfortably equipped terraces, one of which looked straight out to sea which was a real wow and where we spent all of our time. Super guy who looked after us during our stay who also worked at a local restaurant, Fine Dining, which was our favourite. He was so attentive as were all the lovely security staff. Gorgeous pool and garden. We'll be back.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, VIEW guesthouse & bistro at goyambokka is a recently renovated apartment located in Tangalle, 500 metres from Goyambokka Beach. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Each room includes a terrace with inner courtyard views. Ramesh and his sister Nona are exceptional hosts. Kind and generous, they take great efforts to make you feel at home. They offer far more than comfortable beds and delicious food: strong internet, a beautiful environment, lovely shared terrace for reading or dining, beach towels, a clean and well-equipped shared kitchen, a washing machine, attention to detail, etc. We are already looking forward to coming back.

The garden leads to a private lagoon that provides you with authentic wild life from Sri Lanka. We fed monkeys and chipmunks, saw bats, peacocks and fireflies right there in our backyard. We travel a lot, but I'm confident to say that Sanjeewa was the best host we ever had. He made us smoothies and coffee, gave good recommendations and even invited us for a drink with his friends. When the neighbours were playing music at night, he immediately advocated for us and made sure it wouldn't happen again. He saw to our every need and his english is excellent. He even offered to drive us to the train station. The rooms of the house are spacious. There are two rooms and a bathroom on each floor. The rooms upstairs each have a balcony. The shared kitchen has all necessary utensils. If you're lucky, you could have the whole house to yourself. I'm usually rather critical in reviews, but everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable even for my back problems. Sanjeewa came every morning to clean the floors and the kitchen. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk away, as well as a lot of restaurants and little supermarkets. Hence the location is really excellent. I think the price was fair. I would prefer this place to any fancy hotel. Will definitely stay here a second time, should I ever visit Sri Lanka again.
