An eco hotel that is actually eco-friendly without sacrificing comfort. Some of the realities of an eco lodge mean no AC, quick (but refreshing!) showers, and limited power usage due to solar panels. We really enjoyed the eco-element to our stay, though! I loved knowing I was having a relaxing fun vacation while still limiting my power consumption. The whole place felt like a great example of sustainable tourism and I loved seeing it was possible! The location was amazing - We spent most of our day lounging by the water and swimming. It was so lovely! We did the snorkeling and bioluminescent tours. Both were great! If you have to chose, I def recommend the bioluminescent tour. It was amazing. After reading previous reviews, I was a bit worried about the noise from Bora Bora but honestly it didn't bother me at all. It only goes from 10am to 3pm (so it won't disrupt your sleep) and it really is not that loud at all. I had a wonderful time relaxing by the water with or without the small bit of music coming from next door. Finally, the Staff was super nice and friendly. Nice to know it is a small, family run business.

Álvaro and the staff were very warm and welcoming and hospitable. Hot coffee and fresh sliced pineapple and papaya are placed on the porch every morning around 6:30am so it’s there when you wake up, along with a menu so they can take your breakfast order on the next round and bring breakfast to you. Alvaro set us up with Simon, who took us out to snorkel by day and to the biobay by night. Simon was amazing! He was knowledgeable about the fish and coral that we saw and eager to share this knowledge with us.

Edgar and his family are so lovely!! We had such a peaceful stay with them in their place. We had the best food of our trip here. Every single meal was incredible. So fresh, tasty and quick. Our bed was really comfy and we loved chilling on the hammocks. It was so tranquil and peaceful and the beach is only 5 mins walk away. I would recommend trying to get an early boat back to Cartagena as we got absolutely soaked in rough weather when we got it in the afternoon haha.

+ in the quiet area of the beach + small family run hotel, very friendly hosts + fresh food, good prices for Baru + sunbeds + positive vibes + balcony and hammocks I just love this place and I would definitely come again! It’s sooo relaxing and the owners are super friendly! Wished I could stay longer!

Amazing small family resort, The private beach is great so nice peaceful and relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful as well as the owners, who were very friendly and helpful. They gave as a big support and helped with to deal with local street service (taxis, boats), which is not the best.
