Mel Ville was an absolute delight! From the moment we booked, everything was seamless—Anup and Mehak ensured smooth communication and even arranged a last-minute cab from Chennai airport. Their thoughtful hospitality, including a welcome breakfast and complimentary lunch, made our stay extra special. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and White Town. Our room was exactly as shown in the pictures—bright, airy, and comfortable. We also loved unwinding on the common terrace with its refreshing breeze. What truly sets Mel Ville apart is the warmth of the hosts. Having stayed in homestays at other locations, we can confidently say Anup and Mehak are exceptional. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Pondicherry!

We are regular travelers and would rate Bluemoon Homestay a five-star place as one of the nicest, best-located, and real values of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, and modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to all the major sites we wanted to see in Pondicherry. Also, close to big pubs and clubs which was good to notice, and a few steps to dozens of restaurants and cafes. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful big bungalow.

Having stayed at Kariappa House I can honestly say that I will certainly be back again. The staff are really very nice and helpful and Ramji was really nice and quite an interesting person. Not sure why an earlier guest did not like him. He went out of his way to help us. We met the owner Kakoli briefly. She was warm and friendly and invited us to stay back for Diwali celebration. The room was very clean and comfortable. Being a day before Diwali there were some cracker sounds but that was everywhere. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the in-house pets, Jazzy and the cats. The best feature was the pool. It was such a treat to have this lovely lap pool all to ourselves. The location is very close to the French Quarter (walking distance) but the approach is through some narrow roads which did not bother us. The Parking was very convenient. I will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Amazing stuff! The owner was incredible and everything about this place and him made it perfect. You really felt at home. If I ever end up back in Pondicherry, I will without a doubt stay here again.

This has been one of my best stays in India so far! The hotel sits in an old french heritage house nearby the rock beach, but it’s in a quiet lane, away from the buzz. The architecture is so beautiful an well planned, you immediately feel relaxed there. The breakfast is perfect! Full of fresh croissants and probably one of the best jams you’ll ever try. The staff is also great, they’re always eager to help. Thank you so much for the experience of staying with you!
