Arc Royal is a great base to work from to explore Mahe. Fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is a few minutes walk from the beautiful Anse Royal beach, a selection of small supermarkets and restaurants. I highly recommend a visit to Kafe Kreol, stunning setting on the beach with great cocktails and pizza! I would also recommend hiring a car to explore Mahe or download the Linked Up app which is similar to Uber.

Everything was amazing, it really made our trip to Seychelles great. We chose Ocean Terrace because of the location and the view. As recommended during our booking, we rented a car, which you will need anyways in Seychelles. And you will need a car to reach Ocean Terrace. The views from the property are amazing - the beach in the morning and the stars at night. The whole villa is gorgeous and well decorated, with lots of outdoor seating to just enjoy the nature, the ocean and the peace. The poolside area is maybe the most beautiful. The rooms were really good, with all the necessary equipment and amenities - big shower and bathroom, big room, cozy bed, fridge, everything you may need. And the breakfast was very delicious with variety of options, including fruit, fruit drinks, eggs, bagels, … And what made our stay the most comfortable was the staff - Mr Kereck and his team are very professional and detail oriented, making sure the guests really enjoy their vacation. They made sure on every step we have everything we need, including relevant information - which places are must see and how to get there. We are really impressed with their warm hospitality and professionalism, it’s one of the things you can rarely see. Our stay at LaVida selfcatering apartments felt like home, away from home!. Alfred and his lovely wife have created a little paradise and they have paid attention to every single detail an apartment should be equipped with. Upon checking in, they welcomed us and made sure nothing was missing during our stay. Always with a smile and always polite and discreet. The apartment was super clean, perfect wifi, stylish decoration, fully equipped kitchen, and the view was breathtaking! Not to forget there is an option for breakfast and we were glad we chose it.The breakfast was superb. We really enjoyed our stay. We booked the apartment with sea view. We highly recommend La Vida Selfcatering apartments!

Our stay at Chalets des Vacances was amazing. The crew was very nice and helpful. The room was big, clean, had a full kitchen and everything 2 adults and a 4 yo child might need. We stayed there for 2 weeks and felt at home. You must have a car, we drove around the island and saw all the beaches. We has dinner there twice and the food was delicious. It's a bit hard to find on Google maps, look for le reduit restaurant, it's right next to it. Threre is a nice 15 min hike down the hill through the forest and some local houses, to get to Takamaka Beach. A local named Dariel that lives close and is the son a lady that works there, took us on a 45 min hike to the Rock pool, which was amazing. It was free of charge even though I offered to pay for him guiding us. I tried to find the was by myself but couldn't find it. Even though the rock pool looks beautiful, I don't recommend swimming there since once in a while, even during low tide, I big wave can get in and pull you out. We had a great time and I highly recommend the place.
