We stayed here after traveling around Sri Lanka for a week and it was perfect! The family who runs this hotel is really adorable and they will make sure that everything is fine for you, they will help you if you need anything and they serve really good breakfast. You have the choice between English Breakfast and Sri Lankan breakfast, as we stayed for a week we could enjoy the both of them and we always loved it. The room is clean, there is still no hot water but it is not really cold so you still can enjoy a shower especially after a warm day at the beach, which is only at 2min by walk ! There is also a lot of restaurants near the place, and they can arrange you a tuktuk or a taxi if you need to go farther. I will recommend this place without any hesitation, it's really a good value.

A beautiful private accommodation with stunning natural jungle scenery (with monkeys and wild peacocks) yet only a few minutes from the beach and main shopping and restaurant street. This was an exceptional property and the host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The two bedrooms have new wall split a/c units which work perfectly and provide for a cool retreat.

Just a 3-minute walk from Unawatuna Beach and 0.8 miles from Japanese Peace Pagoda, Alice in Paradise features accommodations in Unawatuna, with a garden. Nice and cosy little room, very comfortable. Great location ! Bathroom was very clean, cute and functional. Staff was very lovely.

Just a 9-minute walk from Hikkaduwa Beach and 600 yards from Hikkaduwa Bus Stand, Guruge villa features accommodations in Hikkaduwa, with a garden and a shared lounge. Very welcoming owner, cozy place away from the touristy business of the city. A little off the road, but a really nice place to relax, I especially like the entrance to the place which is somewhat of a living plant arch instead of an iron gate.
