Amazing property with beautiful views. Lots of places to sit outside, including lounge chairs by the water. I really appreciated the use of the kayaks. Good breakfast and dinner (extra charge) and friendly staff.

Unrivalled location on the edge of the stunning lake! The cabins were spotlessly clean and very well appointed, with views out onto the lake! Very friendly and helpful staff who took fantastic care of us during our stay. The food was just delicious, every meal was a real treat with lots of home grown produce and a nice selection of drinks. There is no better location to stay on lake Koman!

The most beautiful place!! The room was comfortable and very clean. The food was great, and the staff are very nice and helpful! They will arrange a boat for you to get from Koman - Shala river (25 euro, you pay at the end of your stay). It's very serene at the end of the day and early morning before the day trippers arrive. Highly recommend staying a night.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us with transportation, bookings, and making sure every part of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The property and room far exceeded our expectations — we were especially surprised by how comfortable the bed was, even more so considering we had a less-than-ideal experience at a five-star hotel in Shkodër. We expected something more rustic at the Shala River, but we were blown away by how comfortable and well-maintained everything was. Location was stunning — right on the river with breathtaking views. As hotel guests, we also had free use of the sun beds, which made relaxing by the water even better. The on-site restaurant was excellent; the food was so good that we didn’t feel the need to eat anywhere else. Breakfast also included with stay. This place was a hidden gem, and we’re so glad we found it!

I don’t even know where to begin. Should I tell you about the staff each and everyone became my dear friend? I have traveled to 60 countries and nowhere has the staff at the guesthouse Compare! The food was excellent. They surprised me each and every meal with the best delicious foods. I hiked every day. The trails are amazing. I danced every day. I was in love with the horse, dog and cat. Everything was so smooth that even after six nights, I wish I had booked more. There is no doubt in my mind, that I will return to this paradise of a place.
