I needed a check in after reception closed and I received a e-mail on the day, as promised, with the key box code and hotel information. Very surprised to have a large bottle of water in the room, also 3 bottles of drinks in the room fridge including one local beer, all complimentary. There are also quite a lot of food and drink options available on trust in the lobby, including ice creams and beers. You put the money in the box. My room was very quiet. The hotel is very close to the sea front and extensive low tide sands. Breakfast is excellent, a lot of very lovely options for a healthy breakfast, beyond my expectations. For example a honey comb to spoon out of, I've never seen this in a hotel before. All in all I was very impressed with this place.

I was concerned after reading some other other reviews, but I needn’t have been because we had a great stay. The staff were friendly and professional, we had a safe, secure garage with electricity for our e-bikes. Our room (101) was huge and had a seating area with four chairs. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh. The TV was big. The bed was comfortable and had cotton linens, which are always important. Breakfast was big and had lots of variety. We had big windows and a patio outside. The hotel is right in town and within 500 meters of an Edeka. I’m very picky about my stays but I honestly had no complaints on this one. Even the price/performance ratio was spot on.
