What’s not to like? The house is beautiful and keeps its original charm. The room was very comfortable and my wife and I could sit in our chairs in the room and look over the water. Has easy beach access. The breakfast was the absolute best! They are very accommodating and put out an awesome Irish breakfast. Staff is wonderful. We felt lucky we stumbled on this place and the island! Hidden Irish jewel.

Firstly the Valentia Island was refreshing, so calm and peaceful. Driving or walking to our destinations was easy and accessible. Royal Valentia Hotel welcomed us warmly. Reservations to breakfast and dinner was simple to make, and assistance was always readily available. Our double bedroom was cozy and comfortable. When we came back from our trips ,our room was always well-kempt and tidy. Everything was just perfect.

Holiday Home Waterville is located in Waterville, just a 7-minute walk from Waterville Craft Market and 2.5 miles from Currane Lodge.

The room and bathroom were both very spacious, clean and well maintained. The breakfast each morning was incredible, cooked to order by our host Alan - he made the best porridge as well as a great Irish breakfast. We found out too late that he also makes the "best Irish stew", next time we will have to have dinner in the restaurant. The location is perfect for exploring the town of Waterville which is just down the road (who knew about the Charlie Chaplin connection?!) and taking day trips along the Ring of Kerry. It is a perfect location for one night or a few.

This place is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! The owner is one of the friendliest people I've met during our trip. He's created an oasis retreat to share with others. If you can find an opening in the booking schedule, choose this place! Everything about it is perfect!

The entire property was stunning. We had a lovely ocean view from our room which was greatly enjoyed. The building itself is quite nice and the staff were super kind and helpful. Everything within the room worked, the bathroom was clean, had many TV channels and clean bedding. Our only regret is that we were sick so we could not explore the property more.
