Beach Hotels in Rapallo

What is not to like?! The property is one of 5 beautiful similar buildings on a wonderful street and location in Rapallo. Excellent base to explore local gems like Santa Margherita Ligure, Recco, and Camogli. Perfect location for everything, including the ferry and the local market along the street on certain days. We got lucky to experience the chocolate festival as well! The room was spacious with a great bathroom and the room had a perfect view right out to the water/beach/sunset. The breakfast is by far the best breakfast we have had at a non-brand name hotel in Europe! And as if it couldn't be any better, then there's the STAFF! Sara started us off on such a positive note with her very helpful and friendly emails prior to arrival, then to meet her in person was the icing on the cake. She is such a lovely caring person and she made us feel like family. She gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. Elina greeted us also on arrival and when she found out we needed to check in quickly to make the ferry to Portofino (last one of the season), she immediately got us checked in quickly and then went out the door with us to show us exactly where to meet the ferry! And Greta. She is amazing and so friendly and incredibly helpful! We saw her often because she was working a lot, and she always greeted us like we were her brothers and with a big smile on her face. She helped with our requests and even created a small box to help us mail a package while there. All 3 of them helped us greatly while retrieving one of our pieces of luggage that was delayed and then had it placed in the room once it arrived. Needless to say, we loved our 6 days at this property and would come back in a heartbeat! Congrats on a winning place in every aspect and your staff are the best assets of all!

Very nice hotel, clean, friendly staff and good location!

The location! It is in the middle of the Lungomare, in an old, classy palazzo and with a wonderful view. The staff was very nice, it was clean and it was, although without an AC, pleasantly fresh in the room. Also, for that money and the location, you cannot get anything better.

The hotel was located very close to the beach and cafes, the room was clean and spacious. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Fantastic staff! The man at the front desk was EXCELLENT and extremely helpful! Beautiful hotel, wonderful air-conditioning, delicious breakfast buffet. Large marble bathrooms, comfy beds and linens too! Excellent location close to the beach and boardwalk and castle and train station! One of our highlights of our trip to Italy! If you're visiting Rapallo stay here!

Everything! Absolutely lovely. Very welcoming. Very clean and spacious rooms. Loved the cozy sitting room for tea and the absolutely delicious and generous breakfast. Perfect location to everything. Easy walk to the beach, train station, ferry and an endless selection of restaurants. Absolutely recommend.

Staff were super nice and accommodating. Got there early and they let me check in early. Breakfast was superb. There are grocery stores and supermarkets in the vicinity and some restaurants around. Overall, I had a great stay for 2 nights. Covered Rapallo, Portofino and San Fruttoso from this location. Very convenient. And all I did was walking. Hotel is not far from the center and ferry station

Amazing stay, we’ll definitely be back! The staff at the Bristol Grand Hotel were absolutely amazing, super friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the first moment. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible view that we couldn’t get enough of. Breakfast was great, lots of options, everything fresh and tasty. Everyone we met was kind and made us feel right at home. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Views to die for. Pool in season. Comfortable. Owner left beer, bubbly wine, water, juice, croissants. Very nice. Washer, dryer in building complex. Parking spot.

It was a lovely hotel a little set back in time, but very clean felt a little retro and a great value for the money.

The location of the hotel was only a few blocks walking from the harbor , shopping , a historic villa / gardens . The staff were wonderful. I felt like I went back in time with the historic setting .

Location was great, our room was very well decorated, balcony is the great part of the room. Staff was wonderful, thanks to all staff in the reception. Wonderful hotel for summer holiday as it has an private beach which has changing rooms, shower, delicious food, gorgeous sea. İts 40- 50 min by walk to Portofino, a amazing road to walk, and 10-15 min to Santa Margarita center by walk. Besides the rooms, also the interior and exterior parts of the hotel were very well decorated, spacious and charming. Best hotel to stay in Santa Margarita
