The location of the resort is excelent, peacefull and quiet, walking distance to the beach. Good for families with children. Nice swiming pool. We ordered dinner in advance and it was delicious. Rooms are simple and clean all you need for night as most of the day we spend outside by swimingpool or beach. I do recomend.

Staying at Baia Sonambula was outstanding. The room (#1) I stayed in was magnificant. The staff was lovely and overdelivered. They went above and beyond during my stay. I highly recommend staying here. It is close to the beach - roughly a 10 second walk. The views from breakfast were breathtaking. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends and family

I can’t say enough fantastic things about this place. The sea view rooms not only offer beautiful vistas but with the sliders open you can hear the waves. The staff that greet you each day are top notch treating you like family and offering assistance with whatever you need. There is an on sight restaurant and bar for times you don’t want to venture out but plenty of other delicious options within a short walk. Market and beach less than a 5 minute walk. This place has thought of everything, even providing chairs and canopy free for guests. Just ask during your included (yummy) breakfast and they will set everything up while you are brushing your teeth. If you catch fresh fish (we didn’t) the kitchen staff with prepare it for your evening dinner. Casa do Mar is a bit more expensive but totally worth every penny.
