The room we stayed in was very nice! It had a balcony that looked out onto Phra Nga Bay. The hotel is right on Tubkaek beach, which was lovely and convenient. The staff was very nice and helpful in getting taxis. Lastly, the restaurant on the premises is really good!

As it is located outside the main Krabi beaches, the location is super quiet and the beach not crowded at all, the bungalow we stayed at was super clean and offers a big space (the shower is huge), walking to the beach is seconds away, the views are amazing especially at sunset, they have lounge chairs for relaxation, a couple paddleboards and a kayak available to all guests, breakfast was great, lunch and dinner options reasonably priced and delicious and a friendly staff. My wife and I would come back with no hesitation!

What can I say! This place is amazing! I have been here three times. My most recent trip I brought a friend and when she got sick, they took care of her like she was family. They took her temperature, brought her medicine, and gave her a dark room to rest in while we waited to go to the airport later in the evening. The breakfast is excellent, and the views are unbelievable. They have a great selection in their restaurant for food. Another great thing is that you can hop on a long tail down on the beach and go to another many islands, or you can arrange a guided trip with the hotel themselves. This is a perfect place if you’re looking to unwind and relax and be away from the crowds and many tourists you’ll find closer to the city 10/10!

The hotel itself. Rooms are very spacious. Staffs are amazing! They’re very accommodating, friendly and they always greet you. The breakfast buffet was great. Marcos Restaurant is a must try.

Loved the Jacuzzi ocean view room and the staff were amazing!!! Would highly recommend staying at Varana again, The management were wonderful and gave me an upgrade and the beach club ambiance was a perfect location right in front of the hotel.
