The patio directly on the water is spectacular, we spent much of our time sitting out there enjoying the view and spotting iguanas. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The family really made our experience special. They are such kind people and super helpful. 10/10 recommend.

The place is absolutely magical, surrounded by beautiful, untouched nature. Being located right by a biotope makes it feel incredibly peaceful and special. The food at the hotel was outstanding—every meal was a real highlight. Everything about our stay was exceptional, from the atmosphere to the quality of service. We would definitely love to come back.

You have good restaurants where they serve good mayan food. It is close to Mayan archaeological sites. After your daily excursions you can relax at the hamaks of the sun breeze hotel.

This charming hotel is located in northern Guatemala’s Petén Jungle, on the shores of Lake Petén. It offers fantastic trips to the Mayan Ruins of the Tikal National Park. I have an autistic boy who enjoys seeing the sunset at Peten Itza Lake. I'm really thankful to all the staff who made my son's dream of having a campfire near the lake while enjoying the sunset. Thank you to Martin, Don Hector, Kevin, and all staff for their assistance throughout our stay in the hotel.

We were collected from the island by Hilda’s husband even though we arrived at a very early time. Hilda put us in touch with someone who booked and sorted our Tikal tour (which was also fantastic). Whilst you’re not staying directly in Flores this side is much more relaxed, everything is cheaper, felt more authentic. Brilliant free tour of an ongoing excavation which is like Tikal, and it’s only a short boat ferry over the water for Q10 pp. would highly recommend

The place is really beautiful, especially the private access to the lake. The rooms have wifi and an AC! We would recommend this B&B to anyone who ever goes to Flores :)
