I am in love with this apartment and wish I could have stayed for the rest of my life! That’s how great this experience was. The view is the best part. The location in vicinity to food, Uluwatu Beach, shops, bars, and activities was priceless. The staff even had someone come and help me with my luggage which was extremely helpful. I had to pay them, but still, it was extremely helpful.

The hotel is simply perfect – clean, aesthetic, beautifully designed, and filled with a sense of calm in every corner. The location is amazing – just a few steps from the sea, with a breathtaking beach that you can’t take your eyes off. The pool is luxurious, all the facilities are top-notch, and the staff? Incredible! Kind, welcoming, and made us feel at home from the very first moment. No doubt we’ll be back – thank you for an unforgettable experience! 🌴☀️

This hotel is perfect for anyone looking for a raw, laid-back vibe—it’s definitely not luxurious. The front desk is very minimal (no phone, and one person handles everything), which adds to its charm. The space itself is cute, spacious, and in an amazing location. You can easily walk to plenty of bars and restaurants, which was a huge plus.

I had a wonderful stay in the Garden View accommodation. From the moment I entered the room, it felt incredibly luxurious. It was very clean, well organized, smelled wonderful, and offered plenty of space for a quiet and comfortable rest. The room was equipped with excellent amenities, including a large jacuzzi, which was especially helpful for my recovery after surgery and made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the complimentary Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) sessions included with my stay. This is something I have never seen offered at any other property. I loved the experience, the quality of the treatment, and was pleasantly surprised that it was included; guests receive one session for each night of their stay. While the entire property is amazing and provides the perfect environment to decompress, heal, relax, or simply enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and ocean views, what truly exceeded my expectations was the exceptional staff. The security team was always willing to help me move around the property, even assisting me with my wheelchair when needed. The front desk team was consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive, always prioritizing my comfort and recovery. The staff member managing the WhatsApp communication responded promptly every time and quickly arranged any assistance I needed. And of course, a special mention goes to the manager. She was one of the sweetest, funniest, and most helpful people I met during my stay, always making sure my needs were met and supporting my recovery in every possible way. What makes The Istana special is that beyond the luxury and amenities, the people genuinely care. By the end of my stay, many of the staff felt more like friends than hotel employees, and some even felt like family. Given my current condition and the fact that I am using a wheelchair, I truly could not have had such a comfortable experience without them.

Housed in a modern Balinese-style building, Mamo Hotel Uluwatu offers an outdoor pool and spa. All rooms offer a balcony with views of Uluwatu Village or the ocean. Everything about mamo was relaxing and brought a sense of peace. I would return and recommend mamo to anyone that wants a great stay in bali.
