Perfect location, great food (by the Philippines standard!), friendly, very helpful staff, who took us on private island tours, making me feel very safe traveling solo with my young daughter. Set 200 metres from Marimegmeg Beach, Coconut Cottages El Nido offers a garden, and accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. After reading a lot of negative reviews about this property, I was a bit skeptical. One hour after I checked in I immediately extended my stay for 2 more nights as I found everything about the place desirable. The bed was big enough for me, a huge TV that I can adjust to face the bed, spacious bathroom with hot water, working AC, and a balcony with a million dollar view. Wifi is starlink and worked perfectly yet the best part was that I can do swimming in probably El Nido’s best easily accessible public beach with crystal clear water. The beach is lined up with nice restaurants from McDonald’s at the entrance to Vanilla Beach which is open 24 hours, to Las Cabanas resort from where I enjoyed ceviche (kilawin) almost daily. Also, don’t skip J83 restaurant as they have the best sunset view and the best pizzas and calzones. The cottage is a short 10-minute walk to the zipline platform. I stayed during the low season so I did not hear a lot of noise as mentioned in the other reviews. The sari sari store next to the cottage is a plus if you want to enjoy cheap ice cream, soda, or even beer. I made friends with the local people there and they made my stay really memorable. For the price, this place is a true gem and I don’t even lie in my reviews you can check my profile to see the number of properties I’ve reviewed.

Set in El Nido in the Luzon region, La Casita has a garden. This apartment offers a terrace. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Marimegmeg Beach is 200 metres away. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this house. The location is truly perfect, literally right on the beach. The house itself is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and even more, which made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The hosts were amazing: incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Since we were traveling by car, they even arranged parking for us just a short 2-minute walk from the house, which was extremely convenient. The house is charming, cozy. And the sunsets on this beach deserve a special mention, absolutely breathtaking and something we will never forget.

Sunset at Las Cabanas features a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in El Nido. The location was beautiful. The staff was so lovely. We were well taken care of our needs. We had some technical issues with wifi but its no fuss as it uncontrollable sometimes. We had good time with breakfast delivery every morning. The food and drinks were amazing.

What a fantastic location! It’s an 8 room boutique place to stay. Rooms are huge modern and just amazing. Pool is an infinity with the view of the sunset above Vanilla beach. We basically had the place to ourselves. If you want a break this is the place for you. Amazing forest around. Two minute walk to Zipline. They transport you up the hill for free this is easy and runs from 7am to midnight. No hassle easy system. If you want to party past midnight they most likely would accommodate however you can pay for a bike to take you up the hill the trikes can’t. 200 Pesos into Elnido town easy. ATM at McDonalds and free wifi.
