A wonderful guesthouse in a lovely, scenic location by the lake Pielinen, with delicious food and the best furry mascot - a friendly, easy-going Finnish Lapphund named Lilli. We stayed in a generously sized room with comfortable beds and a nice view. The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner, and the guesthouse was also selling lovely local products and hand-carved animals. The guesthouse also had a great lounge room area upstairs that our toddler absolutely loved.

We loved the whole experience, starting from the boat ride on lake Pielinen, accomodation and the fantastic buildings with fascinating details, sauna, prepared dinner baskets as well as the great breakfast. In the nature, in calm, very sereine atmosphere - and not forgetting the accomodating owners & hosts!

The hotel's location is great for hikers, Kolini, Patvinsuo and Ruunaa national parks are about 40 minutes away by car. We recommend the hotel to everyone who enjoys the peace of nature. The pavillion by the lake was great. The view from it was excellent and the fire a nice extra.Swimming was good. We ate a very good breakfast with lots of choice. The hotel is located in a quiet location. We really liked the room with air hockey, billiards and similar games. The breakfast was also okay. There were also plenty of parking spaces.

The big house has charechter and the breakfast, made mostly at the guesthouse, was really good. The side building has lovely rooms with private bathrooms and the kitchen area was well equipped.
