Arrived very early (walking the Via Francigena) so on foot with backpacks- we only wanted to leave our backpacks but since the one restaurant in town was not open, the owner agreed to let us check in very early AND served us lunch! This was far above and beyond what we had experienced on our month of walking- the place on the old Mill is breathtakingly beautiful and the reasonably new owners are excellent hosts!

Lovely property with beautiful gardens with outside spaces for guests. and off road parking. Perfect location for overnight stop for Eurotunnel and ferries. Clean comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Francois is an excellent host and we thoroughly recommend hie evening meal platter! (at an excellent price) It will have to be our first/last stop on the long journey south.
