If I could give this an 11 I would. The room was super comfortable , private, quiet, spotless, great bed with an incredible bathing area. The owners were more than friendly;they made us feel welcome and genuinely cared. After several days when we needed to leave VERY early to travel Graham met us personally at 6 am to help us with our bags. Breakfast was served family style… this was a true inn. The area is just far enough from a small town to give the feeling of staying in a real Scottish estate. If you’re going to the Speyside area, this should be your first choice.

The location is in a very private and quiet spot. Every detail has been covered ie iron, hair dryer, torch, small mirror in bedrooms which women like to have when there isn’t a wall mirror😊 ample breakfast cereals, variety of milks, juices, ground coffee, fruit. Mostly there are no staff at the property however Simon messaged regularly to check if anything was needed.

A excellent place to stay Maria the host is very helpful and goes out of her way to give you a full experience of Findhorn life, lovely breakfast, real attention to detail make this place a great place to stay.

Everything, the home was an old property brought up to standard in a very sympathetic manner. The house and property were beautifully appointed, our room lovely and very comfortable with the furniture in keeping with the style of the house. Our bed was so comfortable and the adjoining bathroom perfect. The shower was so nice we both had showers that evening and once again in the morning.

I liked the two German ladies who ran things. The breakfast coffee was best in Scotland. The breakfast was excellent.

The house was very homely and welcoming. Delicious breakfast and comfortable room with all you need for your stay. David was a great host and we enjoyed chatting with him over breakfast. We felt like we were guests at their home not like we were in hotel at all. Would definitely recommend this place.

Gorgeous building and grounds, HUGE lavishly appointed bedroom and bathroom, wonderful breakfast, perfect location. I can't say enough good things about Carnach House! It was beyond our expectations.
