We had a family room which was lovely. There were two double beds and a twin bed, with plenty of space and windows with a view out to the sea. The beds were very comfortable. We loved it.

Everything was of the highest standard and comfort. The attention paid to our particular travel restrictions made all the difference to our stay. We highly recommend the York House Hotel if you are visiting Whitley Bay! Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to return.

Despite being attached to the host's property the apartment was very quiet and felt private. As a solo traveller it felt very safe here. The hosts are 'on site', but this did not feel invasive to my own privacy. Spacious kitchen and lounge area. Comfy bedroom.
