Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We received a warm and generous welcome from hosts who were very flexible in rolling with our bike related needs and schedule. Breakfast was lovely, served quickly cooked to order and with lots of choices. The rooms are not large but they are well-appointed and provided with good towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. Lots of stairs, but that's the nature of the charming old Victorian row house. Location is quiet but close to the town center and about 50' from access to the C2C cycle route out of Workington.

Staff were friendly, approachable, helpful, my son and girlfriend came to have a meal with us, they are vegan and vegetarian, the chef was very helpful and although there was nothing on the menu for them the chef created two meals which were excellent

Lovely smart, clean and fabulous place to stay. Fantastic breakfast (also mushrooms, tomatoes and black pudding that aren’t in my photo) served beautifully and with first class service. All the employees I came across were delightful and were very accommodating.Also a gorgeous location just off the Harbour, which luckily I had a spectacular view of.
