Exceptional facilities. I booked a room. There are only about 3-5 rooms in the apartment (if your booking a room, the cabins ofc are private). The rooms share a wc, shower, a kitchen with everything you need and even a TV area. You only share the area/facilities with other travelers wich is really cosy :) The shared area is also stylish, clean and roomy. And the view, ohh what a great one ! My room had a view over the ocean and mountains. Love the location, short drive to the city (Akureyri) and yet a country vibe in a peaceful area. Also, I didn't get back pain, my back was fine. Stayed for 2 nights, but I often get back pain from hotel beds. The bed was good :)

It is absolutely adorable and very well located if you have a car. The place has retro style appliances which at first glance you wonder about but they’re as modern as it comes! We would definitely stay again.

The crew: Sabrina & Kuba were very friendly and helpful. They even helped us when there was an issue with the booking arrangement - something which is beyond their usual responsibility. Also the location is very nice - close enough to Akureyri and a perfect place to start a half day walk to a nearby lake.

What a generous place. Mikko felt bad and was pulling through, but the lady offered kind help and asked if there was anything we might need that could be available in her fridge. She also gave us a banana with instructions on how it can help with an upset stomach. There are many extras (fruits, drink bottles, etc.) that are not typically available in standard accommodations. It has everything you could ever need.

The check-process was a breeze, the hosts communicated details in a timely manner. Gorgeous location, we had a beautiful mountain & hillside view from our room. The breakfast was perfect and included hot coffee.
