Quiet, very helpful staff Especially when we returned after lobby hours and the room keys didn’t work.

There was one person who was on the cleaning staff that was very helpful and friendly. She was the only one who was friendly there. Mostly, when people who worked there saw you, they turned and walked in the other direction.

This is a very nice place. The main problem I had is there’s no elevator and it’s very difficult for seniors to walk up to the second floor if you have a problem walking with no shoes on this might not be the place for you since they make you leave your shoes in the foyer

The Snow Goose is located centrally from many activities. If you are going primarily for a visit to lake Placed it's about 28 minute drive so plan accordingly. Plenty to do in the area and great for hikers. Host "Wayne" was pleasant and helpful Breakfast was good served until 9 AM. Room had fridge and microwave for our use.
