The Tahara cottage was a warm and comfortable home away from home. The owners, who live close by, were charming, thoughtful and hospitable. The cottage offers so much more in home-like comforts than the usual tourist accomodation and we recommend it highly. Deloraine is a charming, quiet and walkable town with good access to Cradle Mountain National Park (1.5hr drive) the northwest and the Central Highlands.

CLAYFIELD HOMESTEAD - rustic country accommodation is located in Bishopsbourne, just 17 miles from Country Club Casino and 19 miles from Symmons Plains Raceway.

It's a beautiful old home. Large bedrooms, open living space, very nice. Great grounds, directions were clear and easy to find.

The location was very convenient, being close to Launceston and also it is partly on its way to Devonport which was our ultimate destination. We have often used it as an overnight stay having landed in Launceston around 8.30-9.00 at night. We then have a short drive to Hadspen, a good night sleep and then we are refreshed for our drive to Devonport.
