The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The location in the town is good. Within 5 minutes you are on the plaza. The room was spacious. The bathroom was a little bit small, but perfectly fine. And everything was very clean. Breakfast was good and you could have it whenever you wanted. I really recommend this place! Note, the host doesn't speak English, but everything worked out fine with the help of Google Translate.

The pillows were comfortable and I had a great sleep. I also liked that the property is a little more isolated than some others, they were kind enough to turn off the lights so we could view the starry sky. Breakfast was delicious.

-Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The son (Esteban) and wife drove me to the airport and were kind enough to let me drop off my bag and then brought me to the mall to get some lunch. They were very patient. -Breakfast was good and included. -It was remote. -Dinner was delicious (book ahead of time). -The room was LUXURIOUS for the desert -- a couch, bathtub, soft, good-smelling towels.

Perfectly close to and in the desert, but luxury to us. We had a room that was actually a large tent but perfect with a little air conditioner we had to turn off because it was too cold. Perfect breakfast typical with fruit and actually good coffee which was a pleasant surprise. It was a shared bathroom, but there aren't that many rooms and it was always clean. They have they're own little store for drinks and snacks too. The best part was them hooking us up with the observatory and learning about all the stars at night. Best time in Tatacoa and I've visited before like most of us de Huila. Oh, the pool was perfectly clean and temperature was great too perfect place

Peace and quiet. The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, a long, nearly two hour, drive from the airport in Neiva. There is nothing else around it. It is as tranquil and peaceful and relaxing as it is possible to be. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and accomodating. The restaurant and public area are simple but comfortable, slightly higher than the rest of the grounds and open so as to catch good breezes all day and night. It is a very hot desert area, but thanks to the construction it is very comfortable even without air conditioning. The wifi works really well, but we mostly stayed off of it as the idea was rest and relaxation. The pool area is lovely, the water very refreshing. The hotel can arrange tours to other parts of the desert and everything is quite reasonably priced. In the room - which truly is "glamping" rather than a traditional hotel room - the bed was extremely comfortable. The outdoor shower worked well and the water was a temperature that was refreshing without being chilly. It was a perfect place to get away from the noise and chaos of Bogota.
