Emerson, the host went out of his way to accommodate us, and Carlos and Katy (his staff) provided everything we needed--vegan (and delicious) meals using local ingredients. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets to defeat the mountain chill. I loved the paintings everywhere. The place is rustic, but comfortable and well-maintained. Even though we are not young mountaineers, we were comfortable and happy there. Even though the place is right next to the road, it is quiet. The bathroom is down the hall, but it is very clean, and there were no other guests that night.

This place is amazing, we absolutely loved it. It’s set in a beautiful, enclosed green garden.The rooms are huge, beautifully designed and the bed deliciously comfortable. It’s spotlessly clean and situated out of the town in a beautiful, peaceful, indigenous area. The host Veronica could not have been any more inviting and helpful if she tried. She was adorable. She served us a delicious, healthy breakfast in the morning. Do not waste your time staying in the city, definitely come out here and enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful place.

Breakfast was very good - homemade and served at the hour of your choosing. The host asked the evening before what time and what I would like. Location is quiet and peaceful, rooms are comfortable. Note all rooms are up a flight of stairs. I did not mind, but do note that the room has a skylight so it gets light with the sunrise.
