beautiful property and fantastic hosts, so welcoming especially as we had cycled 100km in 39 degrees, to say we were hot and tired is an understatement! arriving at this Haven we had 5* treatment from start to finish, after a much needed shower we made use of the lovely pool and relaxed. As we’re on bikes, Jean-Claude offered to take us to a restaurant in Mossiac and pick us up after, he explained how he likes to do this for cyclists, we were very grateful. we had dinner at La Florentin outside the Abbey, which we highly recommend for the food, service and atmosphere perfect. we can’t rate this B&B highly enough, to finish our stay we had a fabulous breakfast, mostly homemade and just what we needed for a days cycling.

The level of detail provided for the comfort of guests. All mod cons, cosy relaxing feel in the garden over looking the pool, jacuzzi was easy to use, excellent bbq facilities, welcoming and friendly hosts, great location if you have transport for train station to Toulouse, Moissan, Montanan, and surrounding countryside. Five star 🌟 well worth a visit.

You arrive at Maison La Saula and the first thing is that it is an impressive Maison de Maitre. Inside, it is furnished with old French pieces, each individual. There is no theme. It is old, simple as that. Then you get invited to dine with the family. They offer Table d'Hotes also. The breakfast each day varies a little - different pastries or perhaps different jam to spread on your bread. Everything you would expect from breakfast. I have to comment on my bed also. It is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Getting up in the morning is seriously hard! So overall, this has been a fantastic experience. I would like to use one word to describe it. And I think it is a good word: Quirky.
