Great accommodation, good sized clean room in a beautiful location. The most amazing view looking out over tea plantations. Really enjoyed the food- check if they are serving the curry buffet as it was excellent and we really enjoyed the range of breakfast options. Helpful staff and very tranquil surroundings- would definitely recommend a stay!

Everything. The room was lovely and had great views. The staff went above and beyond - they’re so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, but the best part was definitely the on-site cooking class. It was so much fun and so yummy. It’s a bit outside of Haputale but a 300 rupee Tuk Tuk is super easy, and it’s walkable to the monastery down the street which is a much see little attraction. A+ all around!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us, especially when I fell sick during our trip. They were incredibly kind and attentive, even helping us get the medicine we needed. Their genuine care and support made a huge difference and truly touched us. The room was comfortable, the service was excellent, and we felt very well looked after. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place that treats guests like family!

One of the very best places I’ve ever stayed. I wish I’d been able to stay a week instead of just one night. The food was phenomenal, the views from the room, everything was peaceful and just the right amount of private and secluded. I’d planned to go for a hike in Haputale in the morning, but once I checked in, I really couldn’t find any good enough reason to leave the estate.

We had a lovely stay at Lakshan View Resort in Haputale. The location is very convenient, just a short walking distance from the railway station. Lakshan was so thoughtful in giving us two rooms right in front of each other since we were traveling with kids and my mum, which made everything much easier. His hospitality was excellent – he even carried our bags upstairs with a big smile. Lakshan’s mother is also a very kind lady, and together they create such a welcoming and homely atmosphere. What we appreciated most was the balance: they let us enjoy our stay peacefully without any disturbance, but were always available whenever we needed something. A truly comfortable and heartwarming stay – highly recommend Lakshan View Resort to families visiting Haputale!

We stayed there for 2 nights to do some hiking and exploring. They welcomed us with some tea and gave us some great advise for our days in Haputale. The owner provided us with breakfast for our hikes and very tasty dinner. The balcony made a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Thanks for everything!

    The homestay offers incredible views, large, comfortable rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere. But the most special part of Nilowin is the kind, helpful family who run the guesthouse and the delicious, fresh, home cooked food in an idyllic setting. Our whole family took the cooking class and learned so much about Sri Lankan food and culture. I can't recommend it enough. The local village and tea fields are beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed it all so much that we extended our stay.
