Nallur Residence, Haran's family home is a great place to experience real life in Jaffna. The old, typical house is ideally located 100m from the temple and within walking distance of the city center, it's a great place to explore Jaffna, experience its culture, food and architecture. It's also a great place to meet other travelers or learn from Haran, the host. He is very welcoming, helpful and will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay and a great time in Jaffna. We where truly, happily surprised by the hospitality.

    Room size was good although we were in the villa which doesn't have ac. We had dinner one night which was very nice but ready 1 hour later than we'd been told so pretty hungry by the time it arrived.

    This was a brilliant homestay hosted by Allan. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and helped us with our coach booking home and places of interest including the brilliant service at the local temple.
