The room was spacious and clean. Great shower with plenty of hot water, good pressure, and very comfortable bed. Due to the May Day holiday the kitchen was not open. There is another pizza restaurant down the street that was open so we were able to get dinner and drinks. It was a bit disappointing that we were unable to take advantage of the amenities of the property. We travel by bicycle and were disappointed to not be able to get any food at the local grocery store either due to it being closed. I would recommend this property.

The apartment (studio?) is in a quiet village, on a quiet street, and it's an absolute gem. The outside looks like an old, well-maintained farmhouse, but the inside blends modern features with original accents (like exposed wood beams). The kitchen sports contemporary cabinets and a plethora of modern appliances, including the coolest kettle I've seen on my trips. There's a plethora of utensils and all that one needs for cooking, including -- a rarity -- a wall over. The beds are comfy and I liked that the toilet was separate from the shower. The AC is one of those Mitsubishi model that has a quiet mode, great for nighttime and light sleepers. The backyard has a few trees and a perfect place to put a hammock and enjoy the evening, maybe with a glass of fabulous local wines. There's a grocery store around the corner and several small restaurants in the city center. The village itself is about 20 minutes away from Trieste and the local roads are well maintained, with gorgeous vineyards and yet minimal traffic. It's about an hour, hour-and-a-half to Kranjska Gora / Triglav National Park, depending what route you take (either way the whole area is breathtaking). Ljubljana is also about an hour and a half away.

VERY neat and clean property with parking directly out front in the private driveway. Great large rooms. I wish I could have stayed longer. Great well stocked kitchen.     Amazing little and quiet village. The appartment was very clean and equiped with a lot of care and taste. Really recommend for relaxing holidays. Near (less than half hour away) is beach in Italy and some beautiful castles. Host was super friendly and gave us an extra breakfast.
