The location was great. All my activities were accessible from their beach front or road. Their menu had the same prices as the restaurants in town, but their meals tasted better. Hot water showers were nice. The area itself was the best in Zanzibar, to me, because there were few tourists and few tourist vendors. This place had the best fishing opportunities, too.

Breakfast was great, changed slightly each and every day, fresh juice, coffee, pastries! Staff were unbelievably friendly and very accomodating. Room comfortable, dinner and lunch fantastic and the beach bar felt like a different location but the same hotel.

Located off Paje Road, the beachfront Kobe House is located in Jambiani on the south east coast of Zanzibar. It has two swimming pools surrounded by a tropical garden and featuring views of the beach....

I loved everything regarding this location, starting from the wonderful people who work there, the clean comfy rooms, the garden, the pools, even the cats :-) The staff is beyond friendly and helpful, we felt like a family, at home. They were always eager to help us out or fulfill our wishes. When the driver we paid and contracted stood us up and we needed to get urgently to the airport, Maryam and Calvin did everything in their power to find a driver asap, so that we wouldn't miss our flight. They were so accommodating, that they even gave us an extra room for our friend, so that we all have a comfortable stay! What more could anyone wish for! I recommend this place to anyone willing to come to Zanzibar and I will definitely go there, if I ever plan a trip to Zanzibar again!

The location is great. Only a 15 min walk from the beach. The whole design is very lovely. The rooms are very nice, working AC and Wifi. The team is super friendly and accommodating! Helped me out with laundry and places to check out around Jambiani. The owners family is lovely to chat to as well. I had to check out at 5 am and they went as far as having breakfast prepared in a bag to take with me. The place quickly felt like home. I cannot recommend this more. I plan to come to Zanzibar again, and plan to stay in this hotel again without hesitation.
