David is the best! He made me feel so comfortable and at home. He knows a lot about birds and took me around some gems in Entebbe, including a boat ride to a random island that marks the equator point. His home cooked meals are delicious and very large portions. Also, the accommodation is a very unique, eco-friendly architecture. Will miss this place a lot!

This was the nicest apartment / hotel that I've ever stayed in in Africa or America. It was very clean and no bugs. Hot showers! They bring breakfast up to your room and staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. This isn't the place to stay if you want to go to the beach. I enjoyed the privacy and was able to work well in the apartment. It is a studio apartment with a large bedroom, large sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. Is perfect for a long-term stay however, they will rent for just one day. I highly recommend this place.

Alison & Dave's Guesthouse is a place we first stayed at in 2017, and even back then, I was already impressed. What truly stands out, however, is that it keeps getting better with every visit. The team is simply outstanding – warm, professional, and always attentive. The breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared, and a great way to start the day. Rooms and common areas are kept impeccably clean, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable and fast, which is not always a given in the region. A truly well-managed guesthouse that continues to exceed expectations. Highly recommended – whether you're visiting for the first time or returning like we do.

    We loved staying at Cycad Entebbe Guesthouse. It’s very close to the airport which makes it easy for a short layover. The breakfast served was so delicious, with fresh coffee, fruit and eggs. The staff were also very friendly and accommodation - they upgraded us from a shared bathroom room to a villa at the back which we really appreciated
