Besides the basic requirements of cleanliness, room comfort, security, location, accessibility, and professional, efficient staff, I always look for a sense of home. Now, I realize it’s not my house, but believe me, if the staff pays enough attention to detail, it’s not hard to feel attached to a place, even if it’s new. :) Like having a cosy blanket on a swing chair next to the fireplace, or enjoying a healthy breakfast in the morning—just like any mom would make! I loved the tranquility and the cosy atmosphere. I absolutely loved the natural surroundings and how organic the houses feel in the wild landscape. We planned for a quiet time, but my husband and I ended up spending the evenings with our friendly neighbors, which was a delightful surprise. I would recommend this gorgeous place for families with kids, groups of friends looking for a peaceful retreat, couples seeking a weekend away from city noise, and elderly visitors wanting to connect with nature. TUMO is an amazing organization when it comes to their educational projects, and they did a fantastic job with this hostel. The building is beautiful and well located. The deluxe room is very spacious, has lots of natural light and a gorgeous view of the mountains. Everything is brand new and modern. The building has a cool library, robotics and design lab and a big terrace with an awesome view to enjoy the sunset. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
