A wonderful family hotel on a peaceful spot next to the river, surrounded by silence and beautiful nature. The hosts are so warm hospitable people, that make you feel like home, cooking delicious homemade meals and tasty breakfasts that you will never forget. The room is very clean and cosy, it has everything you need. I highly recommend Hotel Mehana Vodenitsata if you are looking for an exceptional stay in the region of Melnik and Petrich.

Excellent place to stay when in the region of Melnik. The room is nice and has everything you might need. The bed was good and we had a great sleep. The owner is helpful and nice. The area around is fantastic, the views, the air, just amazing. I would really recommend this place when in the region of Melnik! The breakfast was plenty and tasty. The herb tea with real herbs worth a special mentioning :) Thank you very much. Next time in Melnik will definitely stay again there!

Absolutely perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The room was great and the views amazing. Rosen and his wife Toni have created a beautiful environment to enjoy the beauty of rural Bulgaria. The road wasn’t really an issue - don’t let that scare you. Just drive carefully and slowly - definitely worth the experience of staying here. The food was great with plenty of places to dine overlooking valleys and mountains. We enjoyed the big hike up and around the small nearby villages.

Breakfast was amazing, as was the coffee. Really liked the wine museum across the street and wine cellar/tasting bar a little further up. View from the room was great. Minimal noise allowed relaxation with nature. Overall really enjoyed the stay and would recommend.

I am not sure from where to start... Silvana was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. She was the person who welcome us, cooked for us and helped with all of our requests. The place was clean, well maintained and cozy 👌 The food was really nice! The breakfast- best omelet my fiance ever had and my traditional Bulgarian "French " toast was lovely too. We highly recommend to visit this place 🙌
