But it’s also comfortable, friendly, clean and well- appointed with a spacious kitchen and quiet garden with table seating along with a rooftop sitting area. Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. They have allowed a local girl to cook all dinners. She buys all of the supplies, and all profits go to her. That is most impressive.

The location and views are breathtaking, the hosts are amazing, facilities are great and the over all experience was awesome. You can take a walk, you can sit and watch the volcano, there is horseback riding … we loved it!
