really happy with the location outskirts of the town Zdar, with an opportunity to do country walks or wonder around the lake near by. the food was delicious, breakfast looked great even for buffet or you can have freshly cooked breakfast of your choice available at no extra charge and tasted great. the hotel room was nice and tidy, powerful shower, vine mini bar and soft drink mini bar which I was very happy with despite that the restaurant close early due to the C-19 government guidance. the staff was very helpful speaking good English, very smooth check out .... would definitely book again

We were in Zdar for our annual visit with friends who live there. We couldn't get our preferred Airbnb so we booked at the HUL -- a place we'd noted on our previous visit. It will stay on our preferred list since it was such a positive experience on many levels. The rooms, baths, and breakfasts were very satisfactory and stress-free. The staff was professional, helpful, and kind. The lunches and dinners at the co-located Poppet were excellent ways to learn about the local cuisine. The location in the heart of the town makes it walkable to much you'd want or need in Zdar. It even has a fine long view of the Zelena Hora, Zdar's signature site.

Rooms were pretty decent and great for what we needed them - mainly to just sleep in the evening. We were right above the bar, but once you close the door you couldn't hear much of the noise so that was good. Breakfast was fine, there were different options and we also ate dinner in the restaurant twice so food was good there as well. Location is great, close to train station and right across grocery store. Would book again if coming in the area.

But I was asked every day what i personally want like to have for breakfast and this was then brought. Also they remembered not to bring coffee because I am drinking only tea. So really a nice hotel. Also the location near to the pond was nice, so I was able to take a run in the evening after work, and they also have a sauna and a really beautiful garden.
