House was beautifully restored and presented with very well-equipped kitchen, and lots of interesting knick-knacks around the house. The house was very clean, and we were welcomed into the house by a neighbour (even though we were three hours later than originally intended!), who was available if needed through our stay, and who cleaned the house part way through our (10-day) stay. The owner (Mercedes) had also provided us with lots of useful information in advance of our visit. The house is located in a friendly village (or small town) with a couple of shops and bars, and with lovely walks / stunning scenery in the natural park, and plenty of interesting places to visit in the surrounding areas. the local bar was welcoming and provided plentiful food (although limited English unless the owners' son was home from work). The internet connection in the house was good, and on-street parking was readily available close to the house.

The host has taken care of everything from the patio to the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. This is a great base for exploring Aranda de Duero and other cities in the region. Downstairs was cute and had everything you need like a washing machine, couch with woodpellet heater. Also the balcony with morning sun was an amazing addition. The shower was really unlike Spanish standards: huge rain shower head with great water pressure. A must after a good day's hike.
