This place was a real hoot! The restaurant had excellent food, was very busy with Pilgrims for breakfast and lunch, serving staff was hilariously harried and short tempered. Sort of a busy NY deli counter at lunchtime! You gotta experience this place for the complete Camino experience! The room was nice, great WiFi! Had a swimming pool great for the hot summer!

We loved our stay at Casa de Cota! Best stay on our Camino. We had a very spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet room with a very cozy bed. We used the washer and dryer in their laundry facilities while we enjoyed a bottle of wine at the pool. We had a short walk to a restaurant for dinner. A perfect stay and a great night’s sleep.

5 star hotel.The placel is off the track from the city center ofMonterroso or Venta de Naron, so you will need a taxi or transportation to get to the hotel. We took a taxi from the Venta de Naron after walking from PortoMarin. However, it is well worth to stay to this place. It is quiet, and I highly recommend making an early reservation if you would like to have a massage. The food is very good and the hosts are very friendly.

Spacious rooms and common areas in a beautiful rustic setting make this a great stop on the Camino / French Way, and this was by far my favourite stop. Miguel was an awesome host (greeted by name on arrival) and helpful and accommodating. I liked the dinner (I went with Galician broth and raxo) as well.
