EVERYTHING! It was so pretty; the decor was a really nice, pretty mixture of traditional and contemporary design. The lounge and bedrooms exuded comfort and homeliness. A real home from home feel. The facilities were also excellent. The Gîte had everything you could possibly need for a great stay in a self catering property…even down to a salad spinner! There was plenty of local information for attractions and things to do in the region, a great selection of books & DVDs, WiFi. There is a lovely epicerie/bar in the village where we would buy our baguettes, groceries, and sometimes go for a drink. A perfect base to explore the beautiful Charente region. We’ll be back!

Very peaceful and quiet. Good shower, parking, heating (it was very cold during our stay!), and helpful hosts.

Home from home feel about this beautiful Gîte. Cosy, with all self catering facilities you need provided. Lovely welcome gift on arrival, which was a nice surprise. Comfortable bed in a large bedroom, designated private parking in the grounds was a real bonus, the large gardens were well maintained, we loved having our own private bbq area and outdoor dining table on the terrace over looking the garden. We enjoyed having an afternoon snooze on the sun loungers. It’s in a peaceful village, with a grocery shop & bar, which we bought our baguettes from on a morning. A short drive took us to a large medieval town with lots of restaurants, shops & a beautiful river. The hosts were perfect, friendly, happy to help with all our questions, and advised us on things to do & see, along with the info in the Gîte folder. We wish we had stayed for longer. We will be booking again and look forward to returning. 10/10.
