We had the Terre Room on the ground floor with a private terrace, 2 sun chairs and a breakfast table and chairs. You entered the room through a door covered in vines and blooming flowers -- It was so charming for a B&B. The photos are true to the way the room looks. Breakfast was included in the price and was delicious, large and exceptional in choice as the owners brought a menu so you could choose what you wanted. The location in Saint Cirq was great. The owners give you a parking pass for the lot nearest the village. They helped with our luggage when we departed. It is convenient to park/stop at the top of the road leading to their home to unload and load your luggage (next to the restaurant/electric car charging station). A young hardworking young couple run this place. The renovation is new as it was done during the Covid shutdown. Saint Cirq Lapopie is a beautiful village you have to visit at least once and I would highly recommend staying at Maison Lapopie Chambres while there. FYI: All of Saint Cirq LaPoppie is very steep with cobblestones. I can walk a little but use a mobility scooter or electric wheelchair most of the time. It was challenging with my scooter in the village, but we had been before and were aware of the situation. The Terre room at this B&B was perfect for me as it was on the ground floor and there were no steps inside the room -- It was accessible with a Walk in shower and bench seat. Be aware of the steep hills in Saint Cirq if you have mobility issues.

Staying right in one of France's most beautiful villages in a spotless apartment with a comfy bed and the best view was like a dream come true! Marie was a wonderful host, so friendly and helpful. The area has so much to offer and the apartment was in a perfect position for walking and exploring the village as well as for drives further afield.

This accommodation is located in the nature. The room is clean and well equiped. The breakfast is good. The host was very kind and friendly enough. The owner's dog was clever and pretty. We want to come back.

ACCOMMODATION: Set at the beginning of a walk into the medieval village, the gite studio was modern, tastefully decorated and with most essentials provided. Excellent shower. Plenty of plugs. LAPOPIE: Magical! The steep walk through the village was barely noticeable as we just couldn't believe what we were seeing. I described it as like a scene from Disney but real! Medieval buildings housing quaint little shops, bars and restaurants. The narrow roads in-between were stone paved and very clean. Views from a ruin site were breathtaking, overlooking the rooftops, valley and river Lot. The riverside itself has a man-made small beach, part of a campsite, free parking. Safe bathing, recommend wearing swim shoes as river bed floor stoney. There is a small bar, pizzeria and music. Grassy area to sit and enjoy.

The location can’t be beat. The host was present when we arrived as he is working on another project just below the unit we stayed in. We were a bit disappointed when the parking spot we expected was being used by someone staying in another unit. There was a much less convenient alternate parking area we could use and it was ok for us but if you really need it, I recommend that you confirm with the host that the parking space is yours as advertised since there is only one space for a few units. Otherwise, the apartment is small but charming and clean with a little terrace that is a perfect place to sit with a cold glass of rosé. The town is just exceptional to walk around ( uphill/downhill) and there are many wonderful restaurants to enjoy.

The location was fabulous, this village is stunning and I wish we had stayed more than one night but we did manage to see a ,ot in that time as it is quite compact. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The hotel is derstanbably old but has had a modern fit out in the bathrooms. Ours was spacious for a French hotel bathroom. , but as usual no where to hang things but this seems to be standard in hotels. You can drive to this particular hotel unlike others, drop your luggage off and then drive up the road to a public carpark which is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel via a pathway. This is a big bonus been so close to an area where you can easily unload. We would definitely return to this very beautiful village and this hotel. It was a very pleasant stay.

Very central location in St. Cirque Lapopie. The location is in a very narrow an steep, lil' road, and you need to walk to it; not a big deal for us, but it could be a concern for others.
